Yuri Aksyuta is Channel One’s chief music and entertainment show producer. He’s an Honoured Art Worker of the Russian Federation, was awarded the 2nd grade Order, ‘For merit to the Fatherland’, and is a multiple TEFI Award winner. He was directly involved at various times with TV programmes like ‘The Voice’ (including ‘The Voice. Children’, ‘The Voice 60+’ and, ‘The Voice. Not Children Anymore’), seasons 2-7 of ‘Star Factory’, ‘Two Stars’ (and the spin-off, ‘Two Stars. Fathers and Children’), ‘Three Chords’, ‘Perepoy zvezdu’, ‘Toch-v-toch’, ‘Five Stars’ and many others that have proved popular. He has been a regular commentator for Eurovision broadcasts and has, in different years, headed the contest’s Russian delegation. In 2009 he executive produced the international contest in Moscow. In 2021, the President of the Russian Federation announced gratitude to Yuri Aksyuta for his great contribution to preparing and organising socially significant events.
